Healing the paralytic

Healing the paralytic   In Mark 2:3-12, we see Jesus healing a paralytic patient. However, Jesus said to the patient,  “ When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee. ”  And then, in chapter 2 verses 9-12,  “ Whether it is easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk? But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house. And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion. 』 In Luke 5:21,  “ And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaks blasphemies? And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and he said to her, Weep not. And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say to thee, Arise. And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother, and there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That God hath visited his people. And this rumor of him went forth throughout all Judaea, and throughout all the region round about. Those who are deprived of the hope of the kingdom of God are the poor in spirit. I...

Strive to enter through the narrow gate   (Luke 13:23-27)  “ Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity." Before Luke 13, numerous miracles of Jesus are introduced. The Jews were moved by the word of God. Nevertheless, the Jews ask,  “ Are there only a few who will be saved? ”  Man is such a great sinner that the Son of God had to die on the cross. This means that if a sinner is not united with the death of the cross, the sin remains. Although believers believe in the death of the cross to atone for sin, the faith that simply looks ...
