ဝတ်ပြုရာအိမ်တော်သည်သန့်ရှင်းသောအိမ်ဖြစ်ပြီးဘုရားသခင်အားယဇ်ပူဇော်ခြင်းနှင့်ကိုးကွယ်ခြင်းအတွက်ရည်ရွယ်ပါသည်။ ဒါဝိဒ်မင်းကြီး၏သားတော်ရှောလမုန်သည်ထိုမြို့ကိုတည်၏။ ဒါဟာနောက်မျိုးဆက်အတွက်နှစ်ကြိမ်ပြန်လည်တည်ဆောက်ခဲ့သည်။ ပြန်လည်တည်ဆောက်ထားသောဗိမာန်တော်တိုင်းကိုဟေရုဒ်ဘုရားကျောင်း Zerubbabel ဘုရားကျောင်းဟုအမည်ပေးခဲ့သည်။
